Description

Are you an experienced Payroll professional looking for a role where you can take ownership and make an impact? Axon Moore are recruiting a standalone Payroll Assistant to join a high-growth, highly reputable business in South Leeds. This is a unique opportunity to manage all aspects of payroll while working independently in a supportive and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Process payroll for all employees, including starters, leavers, amendments, and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP)

Maintain accurate payroll and benefits records, liaising with HR and other departments

Reconcile payroll accounts, prepare BACS payments, and issue P45s

Handle payroll queries and ensure compliance with legislation

Perform manual calculations and support pensions and benefits administration

What We’re Looking For:

Proven payroll experience in a similar role

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Confident xjnqpsq working independently with full responsibility for payroll

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Sage payroll experience desirable
