About the Role

As a Payroll Administrator, you'll take ownership of processing for stores and head office teams. You'll also get hands-on exposure to a variety of duties - from onboarding and employee record management to supporting day-to-day HR queries. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to handle end to end payroll in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end payroll administration

* Processing starters, leavers and employee changes

* Managing statutory payments including SSP, SMP and SPP

* Payroll validation and reconciliation activities

* Processing payroll amendments and adjustments

* Responding to payroll queries

* Ensuring compliance with current UK payroll legislation

* Maintaining accurate payroll records

* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and payroll projects

* Working across multiple payroll cycles and deadlines

What You'll Bring

3-5 years' experience within a payroll position

* Proven end-to-end payroll administration experience

* Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation

* Experience processing high volumes of payroll transactions

* Payroll reconciliation and validation experience

* Excellent attention to detail

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* Ability to work to strict xjnqpsq deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

* Experience working within a payroll bureau or outsourced payroll environment

* SAP payroll or SAP KeyOps experience

* CIPP qualification or payroll-related certification
