Description

We are currently partnered with a growing Top 100 Accountancy who are looking for an experienced Clients Payroll Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Working within an experienced payroll team, you will take ownership of a portfolio of client payrolls, ensuring payrolls are processed accurately and on time. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with payroll bureau or accountancy practice experience who enjoys managing multiple client payrolls and delivering an exceptional service.

Key responsibilities include:

Processing weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly and monthly payrolls for a diverse portfolio of clientsManaging starters, leavers, salary changes and payroll adjustmentsProducing payslips, P45s and payroll reportsMaintaining accurate payroll recordsReconciling HMRC accounts and liaising with HMRC where requiredResponding to client payroll queriesManaging Auto Enrolment administration, including pension submissions and complianceUploading pension files to providers and completing reconciliationsSupporting continuous improvement within payroll processesGeneral payroll administration and maintaining client records

About you:

At least 2 years' payroll experience within a payroll bureau or accountancy practiceStrong knowledge of UK payroll legislation including PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP and statutory requirementsAuto Enrolment experienceExperience managing multiple client payrollsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational and time management skillsExcellent communication and client relationship skillsA proactive approach with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlinesGood IT skills and confidence using payroll software
