Description

Salary: 45,000 to 50,000 plus car allowance, generous bonus scheme and enhanced pension

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Hybrid with 3 days in our Hertfordshire site per week and occasional travel to other depots in the region

What you'll be doing:

You will provide leadership in all aspects of financial reporting and financial control for our Herts region. To be a member of the Finance team working closely with the operational business.

Working with operational management to deliver accurate financial informationProduction and analysis of monthly management accountsPreparation of Balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing the account certifications for direct reports to ensure that they can withstand audit scrutinyPreparation of forecasts, budgets and Long Term Plan in conjunction with the General Manager, Finance Manager and Financial ControllerControl and reporting of capital expenditureFinancial analysis of operational data and KPIPost investment financial review and analysis of long term financial performanceWorking with clients on contract performance and adapting to any changes in service

What we're looking for:

A fully qualified ACCA or CIMA Accountant with previous relevant experiencePrevious experience business partnering preferableGood working knowledge of spreadsheetsBroad system skills preferably with working knowledge of Workday and SAPStrong presentation, communication and organisational skillsStrategic planning and leadership skills.What's next?
