We're partnering with a successful and ambitious Lincolnshire business seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its finance team during an exciting phase of growth and development.

The Opportunity

As Management Accountant, you'll play a central role in providing financial insight and supporting business performance. This is a varied position offering excellent exposure across the organisation and the chance to contribute beyond traditional finance responsibilities.

Key responsibilities will include:

Producing monthly management accounts and performance reportingPreparing budgets, forecasts and financial plansDelivering meaningful financial analysis to support decision-makingSupporting senior stakeholders with commercial and operational insightsMonitoring business performance and identifying opportunities for improvementManaging month-end processes, reconciliations and balance sheet controlsSupporting cash flow planning and broader financial management activitiesAssisting with statutory and regulatory reporting requirementsContributing to the development of systems, controls and reporting processesPlaying an active role in driving efficiencies across the finance function

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates who can combine strong technical accounting skills with a commercial mindset and a proactive approach.

You'll likely have:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifications, be actively studying towards qualification, or be an experienced Qualified by Experience (QBE) finance professionalPrevious experience within a Management Accountant or similar finance roleStrong analytical and reporting skillsAdvanced Excel capability and confidence working with financial dataThe ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the businessA proactive approach and genuine interest in improving processes and performanceExcellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
