Role Title: Management Accountant

Type: Permanent - Part-Time 32 hours per week

Salary: Up to 32,000 per annum - pro rata equivalent for part-time

Hybrid: Office presence required

Location: Nottinghamshire

Sellick Partnership are working with a well-established organisation in Nottinghamshire who are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to support financial reporting, business planning and continuous improvement across the organisation.

The responsibilities of the Management Accountant will be:

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial analysisComplete balance sheet reconciliationsSupport budgeting and forecasting activitiesAnalyse costs and identify efficienciesProduce financial reports for senior stakeholdersEnsure compliance with accounting standardsAssist with audits and statutory reportingSupport finance systems and process improvementsPrepare VAT and other statutory returnsProvide wider support across the finance function

The ideal candidate for the Management Accountant role will have:

Fully qualified, part qualified or actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA, ACA or an equivalent qualification (qualified or part qualified candidates are preferred)Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar roleStrong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledgeExcellent analytical and communication skillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPsThe ability to manage deadlines and competing prioritiesExperience supporting audits and statutory reportingA proactive approach to improving processes
