Description
Axon Moore are supporting a large scale business in Yorkshire with the appointment of an Interim Finance Consultant who will play a key role in a major finance transformation project related to transactional processing.
This is a strategic role, as a leader in a project that is focused on streamlining transactional finance processes. This person will be managing key stakeholder relationships and they will be heavily involved in the execution of the project and achieving the key deliverables.
This is a hybrid role in Yorkshire, with 3 days required on site.
Key responsibilities will include:
Work with the Finance Director to design and execute a project centred on improving financial processes and transactional activities (payments, reconciliations, accounts receivable etc)
Ensure processes are mapped out and align with financial controls and governance
Carry out documentation and testing of newly established financial processes
Manage key stakeholders across multiple finance and non finance functions across the business
The ideal candidate for this role should have the following skills/experience:
Senior financial leader with experience running major projects in large xjnqpsq scale organisations
Experienced in the Payments/AP/AR/Reconciliations space, and familiarity with reconciliations systems
Finance change and transformation experience
This is a 6 month contract role with the possibility of being extended to 12 months.
Candidates must be available to start a new role at short notice in September and be able to commute to Yorkshire to work 3 days in the office
