Location: Remote (light travel to the Middle East)

Day Rate: (Apply online only) per day outside IR35

We are supporting a B2B services organisation with revenues of approximately 150m in the appointment of an Interim Financial Consultant to deliver a business 'health–check'.

This is a short–term, hands–on assignment focused on rapidly building a clear, evidence–based view of the business's current financial and operational position, and identifying opportunities to strengthen performance and future viability.

The Role

Working closely with the SLT, you will:

Deliver a forensic review of the business's financial and commercial performance.Assess existing finance processes, controls, and governance frameworksEvaluate team structure, capability, and effectiveness within the finance functionReview the commercial position, including margin performance and forensic review contract profitabilityAnalyse outstanding and pipeline contracts, identifying risks and opportunitiesProvide a clear "snapshot" of current state, with actionable recommendations for improvementSupport the development of a forward–looking view of business viability and performance potentialCandidate Profile

Proven experience in B2B services environments, in contract–led businessesA strong track record of short–term diagnostic or transformation assignmentsDemonstrable ability to take a forensic, analytical approach to business performanceExperience reviewing contract economics, revenue recognition, and margin driversConfidence assessing organisational design and finance team capabilityExposure to international businesses, with prior Middle East experience advantageousWillingness and ability to undertake light travel to the Middle East
