Our client is seeking a commercially minded and forward-thinking Head of Finance to join their senior finance team. This is a pivotal leadership role that combines strategic planning, business partnering and financial stewardship, offering the chance to influence key decisions and help shape the future direction of a successful and evolving organisation.

Working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, you will lead the financial planning agenda, providing insight, challenge and guidance that supports sustainable growth, effective decision-making and long-term success.

What You'll Be Doing

This is far more than a traditional finance role. You will be at the heart of the organisation, helping leaders understand performance, identify opportunities and navigate future challenges.

Key responsibilities will include:

Leading the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processesDelivering meaningful financial insight and performance analysisPartnering with operational and executive stakeholders across the businessDeveloping financial models, business cases and investment appraisalsDriving continuous improvement across reporting, systems and processesSupporting strategic initiatives and organisational change programmesLeading and developing a high-performing finance teamBuilding a culture of accountability, collaboration and commercial thinkingAbout You

We're keen to speak with qualified finance professionals who combine strong technical expertise with an engaging and collaborative leadership style.

You are likely to bring:

A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)Significant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering or financial leadership rolesExcellent analytical and financial modelling skillsThe ability to influence, challenge and build relationships with senior stakeholdersA proactive and solutions-focused approachExperience leading teams and driving positive changeA passion for using financial insight to support better business decisionsMost importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys working with people, can communicate complex information clearly and thrives in an environment where your ideas and expertise can genuinely make a difference.
