Practice Accountant - Description:

A progressive firm of chartered accountants based on the outskirts of Liverpool, is looking to recruit a ACA / ACCA Finalist or Recently qualified Practice Accountant to join their professional and friendly team. The firm offers a flexible, family friendly, hybrid working environment and is run by experienced, down-to-earth directors with a modern approach.

Reporting to the Directors, the Practice Accountant will build up to taking responsibility for a portfolio of individuals, owner managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients with turnovers up to the audit threshold. Ideally, within 6-12 months, you will develop into being the first point of contact for the clients, dealing with day-to-day queries alongside ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and to deadline.

Practice Accountant - Responsibilities include:

Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies mainly FRS 105, some FRS 102 1AProduce corporation tax computations and returns, plus personal tax work for business owners/directorsSupport clients with management accounts, VAT returns and general SME adviceReview juniors' work depending on level and help with their developmentBuild long-term client relationships and become a trusted point of contactPractice Accountant - Benefits:

Essential Requirements:

Nearly / newly qualified ACA or ACCA, or strong QBE / AAT with solid practice experienceA strong background in accounts preparation and taxation experience, gained from general practice.Good IT skills and knowledge of a variety of accounting packages including IRIS, Sage and XeroConfident and professional mannerApplications from both Qualified, finalist and QBE practice accountants will be considered.Vaisto Recruitment offers a generous referral scheme.
