An established and growing business within a project-led environment is seeking a hands-on Management Accountant to join their finance team on a part-time, fixed-term basis.This opportunity would suit a part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or QBE finance professional who enjoys being close to the detail, taking ownership of month-end processes, and supporting a busy finance function during a period of change.This is an excellent opportunity for a capable and reliable finance professional to take ownership of month-end while remaining involved in the day-to-day running of the finance function. The role offers flexibility through part-time hours and would particularly suit someone seeking work-life balance or a contract opportunity within a supportive team environment.

Your new role

Preparation of monthly management accounts to review stagePosting journals and completing month-end balance sheet reconciliationsAssisting with VAT returnsSupporting invoice processing and payment runsProviding day-to-day support to the wider finance teamAssisting with ad hoc finance tasks as requiredWhat you will need to succeed

Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience (QBE)Proven experience supporting or producing monthly management accountsComfortable working in a hands-on, operational roleStrong working knowledge of Sage (ideally Sage 50)Good Excel skills and strong attention to detailSolid understanding of core finance processes, including VAT and ideally CISExperience working in an SME or project-based environmentExposure to construction or similar industries would be advantageousThis role will be ideal for you if you are
