As a Fraud Advisor, you'll play a crucial role within the Financial Services sector, protecting customers from scams and fraudulent activity while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Fraud Advisor or banking professional who enjoys problem solving, supporting customers, and making a real impact every day.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Fraud Advisor, you will:

Handle inbound customer calls relating to suspected fraud or scamsInvestigate suspicious transactions and raise fraud casesSupport customers who may be vulnerable or experiencing financial difficultyApprove or decline payments based on fraud risk assessmentsProvide reassurance and guidance to customers affected by fraudEducate customers on how to protect themselves from scamsEnsure all activity complies with Financial Services regulations and internal policiesTake ownership of customer queries and aim for first-call resolution

What We're Looking For

To succeed as a Fraud Advisor, you will have:

Minimum 18 months' experience within a UK banking or Financial Services environmentStrong customer service and communication skillsGood understanding of banking processes and terminologyExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilityConfidence handling sensitive situations, including vulnerable customersAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong decision-making skills with a customer-first mindsetExperience within fraud investigation or financial crime is highly desirable.

Salary & Benefits

Working Hours

40 hours per week (full-time permanent)Training: 2 weeks on-site in Glasgow, Monday-Friday 09:00 - 18:00After training: On-site shifts: 10:00 - 19:00After 3 months training: hybrid/home working availableShift patterns between 10:00 - 23:00, Monday-SundayPlease note: No holidays can be taken within the first 6-8 weeks during training and onboarding.
