Finance Business Partner

A well-established organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Business Partner to join its Leeds-based finance team.

This is a commercially focused opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders and using financial insight to influence business performance and decision-making.

This role offers the opportunity to move beyond traditional financial reporting and play a genuine part in supporting commercial decision-making.

You will have exposure to senior stakeholders, contribute to business planning and profitability initiatives, and play an active role in improving financial and operational performance.

To be considered for the role, you ll require the following essentials:

ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualificationProven experience working as a Finance Business Partner or in a commercially focused finance positionStrong commercial awareness & an ability to understand & communicate key business driversExperience analysing financial information & translating it into meaningful commercial insightConfidence working with senior stakeholders & providing constructive challengeExperience with forecasting, financial modelling & business planningStrong communication, presentation & stakeholder management skillsThe ability to work effectively within a complex organisation & build relationships across different teamsA proactive, commercially minded & service-focused approachExperience within professional services or another complex commercial environment would be advantageous! Within this position, you ll also be:

Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisationProviding insightful analysis of financial performance and key KPIsIdentifying opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency & commercial performanceSupporting working capital performance, including billing, WIP & debt managementProviding financial modelling & analysis to support forecasting & business planningSupporting pricing decisions, tenders, profitability reviews & business casesProducing clear financial & commercial commentary to support effective decision-makingSupporting & delivering finance projects, process improvements & systems developmentsWorking collaboratively with stakeholders across a complex organisationProviding constructive financial challenge & helping stakeholders understand the commercial impact of decisions Salary & Working Hours

Salary is GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Working Hours are Full Time, Monday - Friday
