We are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a well-established business on an initial temporary basis, with the opportunity for a permanent role for the right candidate.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who can hit the ground running and work with minimal supervision. The business operates in a busy, transaction-heavy environment, managing a substantial customer ledger and requiring strong credit management processes to maintain healthy cash flow.

The Role

You will take ownership of a high-volume, high-value ledger, proactively chasing outstanding payments and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The successful candidate will be confident working at pace, prioritising effectively, and resolving payment queries professionally while supporting wider finance operations during a busy period.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a high-volume customer ledger with significant outstanding balancesChase overdue payments via phone and emailMonitor aged debt and take appropriate action to reduce arrearsBuild and maintain strong relationships with customersResolve invoice and payment queries efficientlyAllocate cash and reconcile customer accountsProduce debtor reports and support cash flow managementAssist the wider finance team as requiredAbout You
