SENIOR CREDIT CONTROLLER

UP TO £38,000

FULL TIME, PERMANENT

NOTTINGHAM, UK

SF Recruitment are on the lookout for a confident and productive Credit Controller for our client in Nottingham.

You'll join a supportive, fast-paced finance team where your experience really makes an impact, working closely with customers and colleagues to drive results and support our continued growth.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Take full ownership of the Sales Ledgers.

- Lead proactive credit control activities across B2B accounts, driving strong cash flows while maintaining positive customer relationships.

- Confidently and professionally manage aged debt, using effective telephone negotiation skills to secure prompt payment and reduce exposure.

- KPI's - ensuring DSO metrics are efficient and achieved by maximising systems and resources.

- Ensure reporting is efficient and workable for Stakeholder needs.

- Resolve complex invoice queries and accounts issues, working cross-functionally to deliver swift, professional solutions.

- Maintain clear, detailed customer records, ensuring all communications and actions are accurately logged.

- Identify risk trends and escalate concerns appropriately, supporting the Financial Controller and Head of Finance with insight and recommendations.

- Accurately allocate payments and reconcile accounts, always maintaining ledger accuracy.

- Lead the timely distribution of weekly and monthly invoices and statements, ensuring customers have clear, consistent documentation.

- Access and approve new account applications, carrying out thorough credit checks and risk assessments. Along with ongoing Credit Management

- Process secure credit card payments, maintaining compliance and accuracy in all transactions.

- Support site needs, ensuring we deliver a professional and supportive service to our functional teams
