Credit Controller -Wednesbury

£28,000 - £32,000 + Bonus & Excellent Benefits | On-Site | Manufacturing Sector

We're partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Wednesbury, looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their small, supportive finance team.

This is a newly created role following a team restructure, giving you the opportunity to take full ownership of the sales ledger and ensure prompt, accurate payment collection.

You'll be joining a company known for its stability, investment in people, and genuinely down-to-earth culture. While the finance function has strong processes in place, they're looking for someone who will bring fresh ideas, challenge the status quo, and make this role their own.

What You'll Be Doing

Take full responsibility for credit control - chasing outstanding payments and managing debtor relationships.

Post and allocate daily cash receipts.

Raise and issue invoices and credit notes.

Produce aged debt and DSA reports.

Lead monthly credit management meetings.

Work closely with Commercial and Quality teams to resolve queries or disputes.

Support the wider finance team with ledger work and reporting when needed.

What We're Looking For

Proven credit control and sales ledger experience.

Confident managing customer accounts and building long-term relationships.

Comfortable using Excel and accounting software.

Self-motivated, proactive, and happy to work independently.

Brings ideas for process improvements and efficiencies.

Thrives in a fully office-based environment.
