Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking for a role where you'll be genuinely valued and given the opportunity to build long-term relationships with clients?

We are currently working with a highly regarded independent Insurance Broker in Mansfield who are looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a Commercial Account Handler.

The Opportunity

As a Commercial Account Handler, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, providing first-class service and technical support across a wide range of insurance products.

You'll be working closely with clients, insurers and colleagues to ensure policies are administered efficiently and that clients receive the advice and support they need throughout the policy lifecycle.

Your duties will include:

Managing day-to-day client enquiriesProcessing mid-term adjustments and policy amendmentsPreparing and negotiating commercial renewalsObtaining and comparing quotations from insurersProducing policy documentation and ensuring records are maintained accuratelySupporting clients with claims-related enquiriesBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsEnsuring all work is completed in line with FCA and company compliance standardsAbout You

To be considered for this role, you'll need previous experience working within a commercial insurance broking environment and be comfortable managing your own portfolio of clients.

We're particularly interested in speaking with individuals who have:

Strong commercial insurance knowledgeExperience handling renewals and general account management responsibilitiesExcellent customer service and relationship-building skillsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailExperience using broking systems and CRM platformsThe ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamProgress towards Cert CII qualifications would be advantageous, although it is not essential.
