Client Manager Accountant

Salary - competitive depending on experience

Hours - Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

Holiday - 25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing by one day per each year of service (up to a maximum of 28 days)

Location - Office based in Gateshead

TC Murray and Lamb are looking for an Accountant to join the team in their Gateshead office. We are looking for candidates with previous accountancy practice experience to manage a portfolio of clients and prepare year end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, sole-traders and LLPs.

Key responsibilities of a Client Manager Accountant will include:

preparing year end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, sole-traders and LLPssupporting junior staff within the team working closely with clients, other members of the accounts team and other departments, including direct contact with the Partners, managers and clients in order to obtain the required information to prepare their accountsdelivering excellent client servicepreparing management accounts involvement with workflow implementation and management assisting with driving technological solutions in accounting throughout the officeVAT returnsbookkeeping for clients assisting with ad-hoc client supportAbout you

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

ideally at least 5 years' experience within an accountancy practice ACA / ACCA Qualified or qualified by experience good working knowledge of Xero and cloud accounting great attention to detail along with strong organisational skills pro-active and positive attitude
