Claims Handler

Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join a professional team of Commercial Claims Handlers dealing with a variety of high value claims.

Due to significant business growth, this opportunity would enable you, after full training, to work on large and often complex Claims in a technical environment and on a 9am - 5pm non-call centre basis.

As a Claims Handler your responsibilities will include:

Manage new claim notification, updates and collection requestsNegotiate to achieve the most beneficial, cost-effective settlement for ClientsHandle and manage claims and contribute to the satisfactory resolution of complex and/or contentious issuesInterpret policy wordings to obtain the best claims settlements for ClientsTo be a successful Claims Handler you will demonstrate:

Claims Handling experience, of any class, as training in Commercial classes is providedAble to take on-board new information which is technical in natureAnalytically minded and able to resolve queriesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail with a methodical and conscientious approachThis is a great opportunity to develop your Claim career in an environment where you'll learn how to handle large and complex Claims and provide you with professional development in a supportive environment.
