We are partnering with a leading UK accountancy firm seeking an Audit Assistant Manager to join their growing Real Estate team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a specialist client base while progressing your leadership responsibilities.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit engagements across a diverse Real Estate portfolio, including:

Property investment groupsReal Estate fundsProperty developersConstruction and infrastructure businessesSPVs and complex group structures What you will be doing as an Audit Assistant Manager in the Real Estate team:

Lead audit assignments for Real Estate and Property clients from planning through to completionSupervise and coach junior team members during on-site fieldworkReview financial statements prepared under IFRS and UK GAAP, including property-specific accounting treatmentsAudit key Real Estate balances including investment property valuations, development costs, revenue recognition and financing arrangementsReview group consolidations and SPV structuresEnsure compliance with UK and International GAASAssess valuation methodologies and liaise with third-party valuers where requiredMaintain awareness of regulatory requirements, including AML complianceCommunicate regularly with senior client stakeholders, including finance directors and asset managersIdentify commercial and advisory opportunities within the Real Estate portfolio What you will need to succeed as an Audit Assistant Manager in the Real Estate team:

ACA / ACCA / ICAS qualified (or overseas equivalent)Degree educated (or equivalent professional qualification)Experience supervising and coaching junior staffStrong working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS and UK GAAPExposure to Real Estate, Property, Construction or Infrastructure clientsUnderstanding of sector-specific accounting issues such as investment property, fair value measurement and development accountingAwareness of current economic and property market trendsProactive, organised and confident managing your own workloadStrong communicator with the ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders Why join this firm?
