What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

• Supporting core financial activities including reconciliations and month-end processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Managing credit control, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring timely collections.

• Assisting with the preparation of accruals, prepayments, and supporting balance sheet reconciliations.

• Collaborating with teams to support Accounts Payable and other financial functions with a proactive approach.

• Contributing to ad hoc finance projects and improving internal processes to enhance efficiency.

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

• Experience in a similar role, with a solid understanding of reconciliations, month-end routines, and financial controls.

• Confident in managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with a proactive, organised attitude.

• Keen to learn and develop professionally, with aspirations to qualify in ACCA, CIMA, or AAT.

• Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills.
