Main Duties

As a Part-Qualified Accounts Technician you’ll enjoy a diverse and rewarding role, including:

* Assisting with the preparation of financial statements for a range of clients including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders

* Preparing and supporting the completion of personal and corporate tax computations and returns

* Supporting the preparation and submission of VAT returns

* Providing bookkeeping services and maintaining accurate financial records

* Using accounting software to record and process financial transactions

* Assisting with gathering and analysing financial information to support reporting and decision-making

* Working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality client service

* Providing general administrative support to the team where required

Experience

Ideally, you’ll have:

* You will have completed your AAT Level 3 and be looking to continue your studies.

* Previous experience of working within a practice environment is essential.

* Good working knowledge of Word and Excel, and the ability to learn new IT skills quickly.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven accuracy, and an eye for detail.

* Outgoing, socially confident with a positive and friendly attitude.

* Takes the initiative, ability to prioritise, and meet deadlines.
