Description
Due to continued growth and recent contract awards, Sangster & Co are looking to recruit an Accounts & Commercial Administrator to support our growing team.
We are a well-established joinery and construction business delivering high-quality extensions, renovations and developments across the North East.
This role will involve supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative functions of the business while helping maintain an efficient and professional office environment. The successful candidate will also play a key role in supporting the financial performance of our construction projects, assisting with cost tracking and financial reporting across our projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
▪ Bookkeeping and financial administration
▪ Purchasing and supplier coordination
▪ Invoicing and financial record keeping
▪ Cost reporting and analysis (training provided)
▪ General office duties including reception and handling enquiries
▪ Use of MS Office, particularly Excel
▪ Working with Xero accounting software (training provided)
▪ Liaising with our accountant
▪ Financial reporting to the management team
Requirements:
▪ Financial and bookkeeping experience required
▪ MS Office experience essential, particularly Excel
▪ Construction industry experience preferred but not essential
