Accounts Assistant

Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy and supportive finance team based in the Medway Towns. Initially offered on a temporary basis, however there is a possibility that this role could progress to a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent.

This role is ideal for someone with previous accounts experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

Process sales and purchase orders using SAP

Raise and process customer and supplier invoices

Reconcile customer and supplier accounts

Record bank transactions, expenses and multi-currency payments

Assist with payment runs (BACS & TT)

Resolve account queries and liaise with internal departments

Produce aged debtor and creditor reports

Support the wider finance team as requiredAbout You

Previous Accounts Assistant or similar finance experience

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Able to work accurately and meet deadlines

Good communication skills

Salary up to £30,000, depending on experience

Hybrid working after a qualifying period

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday: 8:30am-4:00pm
