Teaching Experience:

I have nearly 20 years of teaching experience. I have taught in various capacities which include 1-2-1, group sessions and contracting for local high schools. I teach both in-person and online.

I ran a tuition centre for more than 5 years before I was forced to close it because of the pandemic.

Currently, I teach students 1-2-1 online and in-person. I also ran group sessions as part of a High School’s Intervention programme, where I taught A Level Maths.

My students come from all different backgrounds and attend a variety of schools from State, Grammar, Independent, Private and International schools. I have a variety of clients from countries such as Denmark, Sweden and Malaysia. Students also attend prestigious schools such as Radley College and Gordonstoun.

I am a member of TTA (The Tutor`s Association) - The only professional body for tutoring.

I have extensive training in safeguarding protocols and have many different Level 2 Certificates in CPD training such as Safeguarding Children, Online Safety and Mental Wellbeing.

I have also taken specialised online tutor courses recognised by Ofqual.

I have a fully enhanced DBS certificate and I am on the DBS update service.


Mathematics has been my passion from a very early age. There is no better feeling than teaching your favourite subject and passing on your knowledge. I am very passionate and enthusiastic about helping my students achieve above the national average.

I base my teaching on ‘Why did you get that answer?’ rather than just teaching a method to get to an answer. This way, a student can identify the understanding behind getting an answer and benefit in other parts of the Mathematics syllabus.

What sets me above other tutors? I work full-time as a professional tutor so the majority of my time is solely dedicated to my students. I never claim to teach multiple subjects - I am a specialist in Mathematics. I take my work seriously, hence, I am a member of The Tutors` Association. This means I have to follow certain ethical codes of conduct as well as being self-employed and paying taxes. I am always looking to better myself, so I am always looking at different methods of teaching and join in on many different webinars to keep current with different methods of teaching.
