GCSE/A-Level Maths & Physics | Dyslexia + Competition Support

Description

Students can need very different things from one-to-one tuition. Some need a slower, clearer route through dense material; others need unfamiliar problems that stretch them beyond the standard course. I offer online Maths and Physics tuition for GCSE, A-Level and admissions students across both profiles.

I’m Nikola, a tutor with a PhD in theoretical physics and more than ten years of experience. I have adapted lessons for students with dyslexia and have also spent four years teaching gifted students in competition-style physics and algorithms classes.

For students with dyslexia, I can adapt the pace and presentation, break long processes into visible stages, use diagrams and colour carefully, and provide the completed handwritten notes as a PDF after the lesson. This is teaching experience rather than a medical or diagnostic service, and the approach is agreed with the individual student.

For high-achieving students, lessons can add non-routine questions, deeper reasoning and competition-style problem-solving while keeping school or admissions priorities in view.

Lessons may combine:

- GCSE and A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics
- AQA, OCR, Edexcel and Cambridge exam-board work
- Visual explanations and live graphics-tablet working
- Exam technique, timing and stress-reducing routines
- Physics and algorithmic competition problem-solving
- TMUA/ESAT foundations where relevant

Rates: students up to age 18 — £40 for 45 minutes or £50 for 60 minutes. University students aged 18+ — £70 for 60 minutes.
