Ayr-based tutor in maths, English, music and general academia

Description

My name is Daniel, I'm a 29-year-old New Zealander currently staying in Ayr. I'm offering teaching of a wide range of subjects to all ages for very affordable prices (literally would accept payment in food and favours at this point).

I used to be an engineer (and hopefully will be one again soon when I get a sponsored visa). I have been travelling the world for the last two years, visiting over 35 countries in that time, mostly working minimum wage at cafes when I can, so I'm now branching out a bit into teaching.

My teaching background is mostly for my family's business back home, which is a cooking school, where I taught entry-level courses on coffee whilst studying my engineering degree.

I love teaching and have a very wide knowledge base of random stuff - from music composition to microsoft excel to Scandinavian languages. I have a degree in mechanical engineering and a post-grad diploma in acoustic engineering. In high school I studied A-levels in statistics, calculus, physics and chemistry. I also played in a band where I wrote all the music, sung lead and played guitar and piano.

In addition to playing music, I wrote a music blog for a number of years which amassed 300,000 words of writing, so I have a good grasp of English grammar, creative writing and essay style. I also have two or three unfinished novels, but who doesn't?

I'm open to teaching any subject to any ages, although any specific course requirements may require me to brush up on old knowledge. I'm happy to meet up and discuss ideas first.
