1-1 Biology Tutor (Glasgow based)

Hi, my name is Caitlin and I am a fully qualified Biology & Science Teacher (GTCS and PVG registered) based in Glasgow. I have been tutoring in Biology for 5 years

As a practising teacher - I have an expert knowledge of the Curriculum for Biology (from Nat 3 —> Advanced Higher). I am happy to help with all aspects of the course: knowledge & understanding, problem solving, experimental technique questions, and depending on needs particular focus on areas that pupils find challenging in relation to exams e.g. data handling and essay questions.

Qualifications including honours degree in molecular science, PGDE in science education and teaching and tutoring experience at all levels in schools in the East Renfrewshire/Renfrewshire/East Dunbartonshire areas with excellent results. I have been tutoring in Biology for 5 years.

My fees are as follows:
National 4/5: £30/hour
Higher/Adv Higher Bio: £35/hour
*BGE S1-S3 Science available on request

Price includes question materials I will provide and access to help outwith tutoring sessions via messaging as required.

If 2 or more students want tutoring together I will discount to £25 per hour each for Nat 5 and £30 per hour each for Higher/ Adv Higher.

I have limited availability which does include some weekend slots but it fills up fast.
