Description
My 2010 YBR 250 with 10,000 miles (trip reads km but Speedo in miles)
This was my go to for trips to my folks due to it's 400 tank range, I hate stopping and could get there and back on a single fill, this was particularly useful during the fuel shortages we had a while back
It's has a pair of quality Pirelli's, new chainset due to frozen link and gets oil and filter every 2k just because
It's also had it's tappets done ( no adjustments necessary
It handles surprising well, is light and easy to manoeuvre, starts IMMEDIATELY, even when layed up for a while
As you can see it has the always useful top box, has heated grips
It makes a wonderful commuter having a sensible tank size so you don't have to fill every couple of days and an extremely sensible reserve counter, when the bike goes onto reserve the trip switches over and counts the mileage up, very useful if you didn't spot when it happened, managed the bottom of the M11 all the way to Lincoln with about 50 miles left spare and my long term average is 78.5 mpg
Light, efficient and frugal with a cheap insurance rating and low tax has almost a full tank to get you home, MOT til March 26 and can assist with trains etc.
