‘LX67CHO’ is a Yamaha XSR700 that was imported from the USA in September 2021. Since import it has been owned by just three registered keepers to date. The current keeper has owned ‘LX67CHO’ for 3 years or so and just 2,150 recorded miles are displayed. ‘LX67CHO’ has a category N, non-structural insurance marker logged against it dating from October 2021. Since then, a custom paint finish has been applied, and both bodywork and paintwork are now graded as “good.” ‘LX67CHO’ offers a part service history and is complete with an advisory free MOT until July 2025. A nice looking example of the well respected and fun to ride XSR700.

The Yamaha XSR700 is essentially a retro-styled version of the MT-07 which is great news as the latter is a highly respected middleweight motorcycle. The heart of the machine is the 689cc CP2 parallel twin-cylinder, 8-valve, liquid cooled engine. This unit is noted as both punchy and frugal and delivers around 74 bhp and 50 Ib-ft of torque. In a machine weighing in at only around 180 kg, this is more than enough to enjoy some truly memorable journeys. Other mechanical features include a five speed transmission and ABS. Additionally, ‘LX67CHO’ is fitted with a full Mivv performance exhaust system. Another great feature of the XSR700 is the availability of over 50 official Yamaha optional extras which can still be bought from their website, and retro fitted such as LED lights and uprated suspension components. The vendor rates all mechanical systems as “good.”

‘LX67CHO’ sports a fetching custom livery which includes a crisp white tank livery with metallic anthracite accents which seems to have been professionally applied post import. Other appealing retro features include a diamond stitched saddle, and a retro look single instrument which is a multi-function LCD display offering a raft of key rider information. A great overall package which is known to be both great fun to ride and admirably frugal in terms of running costs.
