Description
1995 Yamaha SRX400
Single cylinder twin-carb classic. MOT to May 2026.
Engine rebuild with new crank bearings 10k km ago.
Resprayed 2024.
Everything solid, including the original exhaust. In my ownership has been problem-free (replaced one wheel bearing & one snapped rev cable, plus new brake pads and new chain & sprockets 2025). Regular full synthetic oil changes. Seat in excellent rip-free condition. Starts and rides without issues & handles great.
22k km on the clock but reading between the lines in the history file the true figure is probably about 31k (clocks have been replaced, twice).
Grey import from Japan, plenty of UK history. Japanese spec from the final 3VN production variant so electric start, larger 17in front wheel, oil cooler, rear mono-shock and clock in
kilometres, plus a handy red light to tell you when you are exceeding the Japanese national
speed limit.
Front tyre good. Rear probably has 1-2k left.
Passenger pegs removed but I have them.
Comes with a few spares including a correct year/model factory airbox & filter which I haven't got around to fitting.
