Description
A superb bowler hat by Lock & Co., of London. This is the oldest shop in London and the oldest hatters. This bowler hat is the ‘Town Coke’ style. Originally commissioned by Edward Coke for his gamekeepers, this is a timeless design. This is the extra firm version for outdoor use. Made of wool with cream satin lining, it has a soft leather inner rim which has a drawstring to adjust to suit the wearer. There is no size label on this hat but believe it is small. Diameter 6.5inch (16.5cm) and the circumference is 21"(54cm). There is no box. Ideal for weddings and other formal events. Buyers invited to view and try on.
