This unique whisky/wine bottle stand is a must-have for disguising lesser known whisky/wine brands. It has utility as a centrepiece to adorn any table or drinks cabinet, or simply as a talking point. Perhaps as recognition of piping skills, birthday and of course Hogmany. Hand crafted in Scotland with metal (from girders! apologise to soft drink makers) this bottle stand features all the classic regalia of a piper. Even to the extent that if it isn’t holding a bottle, there can be no doubt what this piper has under the kilt. All in all a character piece.
The piper has had some use, principally as a display piece. The metallic colour and use of multiple metals gives a rustic appearance. The body from the tallest drone to the base, without the head, is c35cm in height and the head is c8cm. The overall weight is about 1.5kg. The stand can comfortably encases a standard 70cl whisky/wine bottle, however not a one litre bottle.
