Description
An aluminium road bike from around 2005 designed by Pinarello, the famous Italian bike maker. This is a 'large' size, 56. I am 6'1" and it suits me well, but could be adjusted a little to suit taller or shorter. This example was upgraded from the original specification and has Shimano 105 gearing (2 x 10) and brakes, rather than specified Tiagra (albeit 105 from about 2010). It also has Roval (Specialized) Echappe semi aero wheels, which look great, and a Prologo x8 saddle, very comfortable but sporty. Shimano clipless SPD 'road' pedals.
Not as light as modern carbon bikes, but beautifully balanced and very well made. I'm parting with it (sadly) as I don't have enough room in my garage for several bikes, and I haven't used this one as much for the past couple of years. It was my first 'proper' road bike and I'm very fond of it.
