Japense wardrobe made of varnished, hand painted wood, inlaid with bone and mother-of-pearl in the Shibayama technique.

It is a sculptural art in which the artist combines different materials.
Materials are used preciously as inlays or appliqués on the carved surface of the wood.

Some losses off mother of pearl on the panels as it’s a preloved antique but doesn’t detract from this timeless piece
