Welcome to the sale of our VW T4 2.5 tdi Tailgate

We have owned this bus since February 2022.

Originally a panel van & blue!

It’s been converted into a day van, with 6 seats, with 3 point seatbelts all round.

Rattle canned black 3 years ago to an ok standard…. With Montana black paint, similar to raptor but not as harsh or thick! Good enough for me lol…. Changed on the V5 slip aswell.

Van is insulated with Dacron, carpet lined to a good standard.

6x led lights in the roof

The back boasts some serious storage with removable panels and doubles up as a small bed. Comes with a curtain that poppers up & side & rear window blinds for the rear bed area.

Storage nets in various places, along with 12v, usb & usb c adaptor in the middle of the van.

Pioneer BT stereo with upgraded speakers & 6x9’s fitted in the rear seated section. 2 x usb sockets

Roof rack

16 inch Mercedes alloys with correct spacers fitted and winter tyres that are all in good condition as were only fitted in nov 24.

The van is in fair condition - NOT A SHOW VAN, so please do not expect pristine as it is 23 years old.

Mileage 264600 will go up as still in use - extensive mechanical work carried out - so drives lovely.

Smokes a bit on start up, clears pretty quickly… I’ve had 5 2.5 tdi’s and they have all smoked. Forums will argue this all day but it drives fine and every mechanic that has worked on her tells me she runs lovely! I worry - so it’s nice to hear.

It has various dinks here and there and there are bits of surface rust on some of the arches, overall it’s in good nick and not a rot box like some ive seen!

It comes with an MOT until July 26 (I’ve added advisories in the photos) it’s only failed on light bulbs the last few mot’s (please check this on the .GOV website through the reg of the van.

Mechanically…. Big jobs with receipts present. Also lots of cash jobs aswell.

Has a slight oil leak that has been an advisory on MOT’s since we have had the van - looses very little!

New driveshafts being fitted this Wednesday (13th) will add receipt when done

Head gasket repaired dec 2022 - no mixing of oil and water but there was a break in the seal.
At the same time - timing belt, aux belt and water pump were replaced £1270.53

Gearbox refurbished at Gearbox repair specialist Dec 24 along with new clutch and fly wheel £1475

Refurbed steering rack & fitting May 23 £484

New tyres all round £284

Stage 1 remap dec 23 £240

Powering steering pump replaced 2022 £296

This has been our family bus that has taken us all round the country & camping and never misses a beat! What’s needed doing has been done as I want it to be safe & sound for my family.

Reason for sale? I needed a 4 wheel drive for my woodland area which we have now purchased.

Can’t have both!

I strongly advise coming to view the bus - rather than bidding and trying to pick it apart when you come to collect… that’ll be a waste of mine & your time.

It’s an honest van & I have nothing to hide - it’s been washed so not hiding any big nasties, number plate visible so you can do all your online checks before you bid or contact me.

This is advertised elsewhere so can be removed at any time.
