Update 01/08/2025 I’ve had a lot of messages about this car and people saying silly offers,it’s here for sale and it hasn’t moved since April so the two front tyres are flat and it still needs a new battery or good jump leads to start,basically I want rid of it asap as people are viewing my house as it’s for sale and it doesn’t look good sitting outside with flat tyres,so I will take an offer of 300.Selling my Passat 2 litre turbo diesel as I have no room at my new house for two cars.This is a great car and below average milage for the age.
Pros-Always run well and averages 40+
Spacious and fantastic for family
Had loads work done by previous owner,spent thousands,Timing belt done,turbo done,runs very well.Loads of invoices from garages at cockermouth showing work done.
I paid 1500 for this car 15 month ago but it's not been used regular for last 3 months.
Cons- needs full mot and most likely a new battery through lack of use,jump leads no longer start it.
Windscreen has crack in
Driver side wing mirror been hit glass needs replaced
Driver side window electrics do not work
(Apart from the above it runs well,I did fit two new tyres when I bought it all tyres are good and I've done less than 3000 mile in it as I just used it to go work and take dog out.
The car needs some money spent on it and it's a solid car and great for family's or a small business owner as it's so spacious and it's a good diesel
Scrap is 300,I'd rather it not go to scrap years been such a good car and fantastic engine,350 is reasonable to get rid.
