I recently purchased this amazing 2.8 VR6 swapped Mk2 Golf.

It has an interesting history with it being dry stored for almost twenty years of its life.

I sold my Megane RS to fund buying the mk2 with the intentions of using for summer due to other cars being at varying stages of builds. I have had an amazing time owning the car and to be honest I’m not fussed if it sells as I can see myself painting the car and keeping.

But, my track S2000 is going for paint this month so should really be sensible and let this go to help fund that.

The car itself drives flawlessly now that I’ve changed out the fuel pump sender, it goes very very well. Has character being 35 years old. I have a lot of spare parts for it including bonnet, clutch, lights etc etc. The car has over 200bhp and is a hoot to drive.

MOT’d (16/04/26) and ULEZ Compliant. Underside has been restored and has full mk3 wide track running gear, coilovers, G60 front brakes, mk4 rear brakes etc. Paintwork only thing letting it down.
