Description
Vw Golf Gti mk4 1.8T 1999 S reg model
One of the earliest mk4 1.8 turbo golf’s
I bought this little gem from an elderly lady in a village back in October 2023, she had owned it for over 20 years
This car is a true survivor and is by far the most reliable car I have ever owned
Mechanically the car is absolutely sound
Engine gearbox clutch turbo all good
Body has a few battle scars around bumpers
The front wings are rust in usual places but I have sourced 2 excellent Original ones in the same paint code, they just need fitting
Overall very presentable
One of the sills needs a small plate welding but it’s not structural and has passed mot twice like this
A few issues need addressing like one rear window doesn’t work, right Hand handbrake cable needs replacing and the central locking used to work from the fob but now doesn’t
It has a huge history file with it and has mostly been maintained by one village garage all its life, further to that I’ve changed the oil twice and all filters, plugs since owning it
Good tyres all round
Electric sunroof
Kenwood double din Apple car play worth £250
Will come with original radio too
Honestly wouldn’t hesitate taking this car anywhere in the country as it’s never give me any issues
Also this has the sought after AGU forged engine in it which is by far the strongest 1.8T lump
