I bought in September last year as a runabout and something cheap to run and insure, previous owner had since 2007! Was completely original, swapped all parts over from a GT golf that had engine trouble. Serviced in Jan at 115,000 miles using Genuine oil and filters along with thermostat, coolant and alternator pulley and front discs and pads. Starts first turn of key, drives the best hasn't even mapped or messed with performance wise original 105bhp. Gives over 500 miles to a tank (about £60). Few marks and dings still a very presentable wee car for 20 years old.
