Description
Original 1957 Elvis Presley Lawdy, Miss Clawdy / Tryin’ To Get You, on HMV 45 rpm 7” single, Catalogue number 45-POP 408, on the ‘His Masters Voice’ Label
PLAYTESTED, on my middle of the road, 1980’s Pioneer deck with a good needle.
SOUND QUALITY it plays great no skips pops or repeats just a little low crackle on the lead in which quickly fades as the vocals and the music comes in I would rate the sound quality as VERY GOOD+ verging on VG++
VISUALLY please see photo as the following are only minor- there are only a few of the faintest top surface hair/ghost lines, there is a fine top surface single ring mark on the A side that plays through with no sound indication it is actually there, on the B side there is a small scuff on the paper label and a small trace of a foreign deposit on the run in area which again plays through with no sound indication that it is actually there, it would get a VERY GOOD + however has no four prong centre so for that reason only it gets a VERY GOOD
COVER Correct date related cover gets a VERY GOOD + rating, just a slight record impression
