Meticulously maintained to an exceptionally high standard, with a substantial amount of accompanying documentation. The car is said to want for absolutely nothing and is an incredible drive.

Originally, the car began life as a demonstrator for the senior manager at Arthurs of Oswestry Vauxhall and was initially registered on a private plate. Over the years, each owner has upheld the high standard of care this car deserves—evidenced by the extensive paperwork included in the photos. This car has full service history and much of it comes from main dealerships, the last three owners have had the car maintained by Phoenix Motorsport—the go-to specialists for anything Lotus. It has also had a full ceramic coating applied to the car to help maintain the paint.

Its most recent service at Phoenix Motorsport was in February 2025, and it was reported to require nothing. The vendor informs us that previous owners spared no expense in keeping the car in top condition, addressing every issue without compromise.

The VX220 was developed in collaboration with GM and Lotus and built alongside the Elise at the Hethel factory.
