Volkswagen Transporter 2.0 TDI HIGHLINE T28 - 4 Berth Conversion

For sale is my VW Transporter, camper conversion, converted at the end of 2017, by Bus Stop VW Ltd.

Timing belt & water pump replaced 24/05/24 @ 21190 miles.

Note - The van is registered with the DVLA as a motorhome.

I searched high and low for this specification, as it has the highly desirable 150bhp engine, combined with the more reliable 6 speed manual gearbox. Highline spec, so you get the all important cruise control and air conditioning, as well as the other essential creature comforts. This is also a tailgate model which is a massive bonus for a camper and is much appreciated when setting up in the rain.
The van is finished in Blackbery metallic, which gets compliments everywhere it goes; it really is a stunning colour. It looks almost black in low light, but really pops metallic purple under the sunshine.

The van has only covered just under 29,000 miles, as it has exclusively been used as a Campervan since 2018. I have a folder of invoices, for minor work/servicing throughout the van’s life, to corroborate the mileage. Mileage will increase as I still have a few sites booked till the end of September, as well as running the van back and forth work routinely so it’s not sat, for long periods between camping.

Overall the exterior of the van is in very good condition, with only a few very small and hardly noticeable dents and the odd stone chip. The wheels have recently been refurbished, and all tyres are good.
The only bad point is that there is currently no solar panel fitted and there is adhesive present, on the pop-top, from where the previous panel was bonded on. It would be straight forward to bond a new panel on as the wiring for the previous panel is still in place, it’s just something I have yet to get round to as it’s not something I’ve ever needed. I may fit one before sale, but please note - if I do, I will increase the price of the van beyond the cost of a solar panel, as I have factored in the inconvenience to the new of not having a panel fitted/cost of replacing.

The interior is also in very good condition; the upholstery is undamaged and there is only a few marks in the kitchen/furniture of the conversion, consistent with a conversion of this age. See photos for accurate representation.

Previous owner (2nd keeper, first being VW, as the van was a demonstrator), owned this van for 7 years. I’ve had it for 2 summers and thoroughly enjoyed it, including trips to the French alps and the north coast 500. Unfortunately, multiple changes in circumstances, means a reluctant sale.

It is a 4 berth conversion; sleeps 2 on the rock and roll bed, and 2 in the elevating roof, if required.
It is fully equipped with everything you would expect from a professionally converted camper, including the all important diesel heater, for the colder spring and autumn nights off-grid. Please see the invoice in the photos, for full conversion specification.
Since owning the van I have also fitted a set of Transporter HQ V3 headlights, as the output from the original H4 units was pitiful. The new lights provide a far better light output and beam pattern; an essential modification, for safety, in my eyes.

If the asking price is met, I will also include a Vango Cruz 2 inflatable awning. This has been a lifesaver when we have done long weekends away in bad weather. It is in excellent condition and comes with a few extras, like the bedroom attachment(unused), which allows you to sleep a further 2 people, in the awning. As well as this, I can include a canopy, which attaches to the awning rail, for cover on shorter stays. See photos for both set-ups.
