Description

A very good example of a Peugeot Bipper Van which has done only 81k miles. I have owned the van since it had around 49,000 miles on the clock.

No significant issues with the van, drives perfectly fine and I do not expect anything that significantly needs doing when its MOT is due middle to end of October.

This van is very clean inside, it does have the expected wear due to its age. No major bumps, I have included a pic which shows passenger side there is a slight dent next to indicator light, this was due to some uber cyclist going in to the side of me when I pulled out of petrol station. It was there fault as they were looking at their mobile phone at the time.

This van should be priced at £3000 as these vans are very sought after but I have dropped the price by £250 due to the following reasons.

My financial situation is not great hence why I am selling. A month a go I had 2 minor issues fixed on the van. This was a brand new passenger side shaft and cv joint (the cv joint was going but the mechanic said it is hard to get cv joint off the shaft, so i paid to have shaft changed at the same time even though it didn't need replacing, cost £160) . I also had break lights fixed at back, it was due to a faulty wiring issue. Occasionally I have the triangle light pop on due to what the van said was a number plate bulb going on the back of the van. I had a specialist check this out and there was no issue with the bulb, it seemed that occasionally i was getting a faulty wiring issue but when it was checked over the issue stopped happening.

Since then there are several minor issues that will need fixing before MOT hence the price reduction of £250.

These are:

1. The driver side cv joint is going, its ok at the moment but in 2 months it will need doing, it was bound to happen as they tend to go at the same time. This will cost the new buyer £160, i can put you in touch with a very good and affordable mechanic who has his own small garage near me. The £160 will get you a new shaft and cv joint on driver side.

2. I have an electrical issue when going over bumps, for some reason if I go over a bump slightly hard i get the driver side door signal show up to say door is open, obviously its not so its a slight faulty wire somewhere. Again i know a very good electrical mechanic who lives near me who is semi retired but a whiz and electrical issues on vehicles, he can fix that for you for not too much. He is aware of the issue as I have spoken to him before about it.

3. When the van hit 60k miles the computer flagged up that the van needed a service, that's typical of most vehicles. the issue with this was that it reset the radio and asked for a password. I bought 2 prongs which i can give the new buyer and preceded to take the radio out to see if there was a code on the back. As the van is an ex royal mail van there was no code on the back, so for a year or so now i haven't been able to get the radio to work as I don't know the code. I believe there are ways to get around this but I haven't looked in to it or wanted to pay for a service to get a code. So bare this in mind that you will need to investigate fixing this issue yourself.

4. The 'T' had fallen off on the back of the van for the word 'Peugeot'. I have kept the 'T' in the van so the new owner just needs to stick it back on after purchase.

5. The light inside the back of the van does not work, never has since I have owned the van, might be a bulb that has gone, not sure. I have provided an image which shows the light switch in back of the van.

Added Bonus:

1. When I bought the van around 6 years ago I paid £1500 at the time to have the van resprayed, this happened a few month before covid happened, so the van looks nice in a red colour.

2. Van comes with a spare wheel which I have previously purchased.

Price:

1. £2750

Reason for selling:

1. Financial and I am looking to down size to a cheaper vehicle in the short term.

Points to mention:

1. Mot valid until 3rd November 2025.
2. Cash on collection.
