Description

O.K...here we have a 1967 Humber Sceptre Mk2 Automatic. The last owner has put a 1971 1.8 Mg bgt engine in it. The car does run but it badly needs a service. I was planning to put an original 1725 engine back in it, but I have too many projects now. I have put 4 brand new tyres on it, as I was going to have the car as a daily driver. The interior is ok, but the wiring could do with being re-done, as its not pretty. The fuel tank has had a liner in it, it has electric fuel pump, i have put new plugs in it, new oil cooler and the ht leads look new. It is basically half sceptre and half mg. The last owner had it resprayed bmw Forest green. The brakes need sorting out, it does drive but it would be better to recover it. The speedo and rev counter do not work. The starter motor may have a loose connection or may be the ignition switch, as sometimes it wont engage when turning the key. The battery is not much good, but it will come with it. The car is what it is, body is good for age. The car has cost me £1800. Ideal project for someone. Come with alloy rims pictured. £1800 ono
