Description
Yamaha CG-140 Classical Guitar in reasonably good condition.
There are multiple scratches and dings, including a small lacquer chip on the back, but these are all superficial and do not affect the instrument's tone or playability.
The CG-140 is a (Taiwanese) precursor to the current CG-142 and features a spruce top, rosewood back and sides, mahogany or nato neck, and ebony fingerboard - all in all a world away from their student models, so a good step up for someone ready to graduate to a significantly better instrument.
I currently have it strung up with Thomastik-Infeld Ropecore strings, which might not be to everyone's taste, but will leave it up to its new owner to change them.
