Description
Being a senior citizen, and having good judgement, ( wrong ) I dropped a clanger !!!
I recently upgraded my TV, from a 43 to a 50, but I did not take into account my room size.
Anyway I forged ahead and decided to buy a wall mount.
Then a friend suggested I fit a Soundbar bracket at the same time.
So I ordered an extended arm TV mount from Amazon £37.98 ( idiot !! ) and a Soundbar bracket from Ebay £15.49. (idiot again !! ).
The maximum weight for the TV bracket is 15kg, so my new TV being only 11.7kg was well within tolerances ( one star to me ! ).
The VESA size states 200mm x 200mm ( my TV is that ) but it may go to 300mm x 300mm.
It has a sort of ball joint, which allows you to tilt the TV in any angle ( whoopie ).
However when I finished this mammoth task, and sat back on my sofa hoping to feel a little pride , I was conning myself.
The TV looked absolutely stupid. So much so, I went out and bought a
TV cabinet.
I'm asking £20 for both. No offers please.
