Triumph, TIGER EXPLORER, 2012, 1215 (cc) - recent MOT & Service, lots of extras

For sale my beloved 2012 Triumph Explorer 1215, 35616 miles, MOT’d until 8th May 2026, service history including most recent service in May 25, when a new battery was fitted.

I’ve owned the bike since 2013 and loved it for weekend fun, dry-commuting and a few days touring in UK or Europe. It’s a cracking piece of kit that is capable of far more than my riding skills will stretch to, and being a shafty, it’s also low maintenance. I’ve enjoyed this one so much that after 12 years, I’ve bought myself a newer model, meaning it’s now time for this one to go.

The bike has 2 keys, and a built in immobiliser, plus it come’s with lots of extras:-
Triumph powered top box – opens with ignition key
Touring screen & standard screen
Triumph CNC machined GPS mounting bracket
Scorpion Red Power Exhaust & Standard Triumph Exhaust
Triumph Engine Protection Bars
Heated Grips
Heated Front Seat & standard seat
New ‘Tiger Explorer’ rad guard
Triumph Tank Pad
Fender extender
Blue reflective anti-scratch vinyl (looks cool when reflecting, but easily peeled off if not wanted)
There are Triumph Tyre Pressure Monitors in each wheel, but when the batteries finally gave out I never got around to changing them and system was put into ‘standby’ mode.
Also included are new brake pads for front and back that I kept ‘on-hand’ as spares.

At last service the key measurements were :-
Brake pads – 4mm front and 3mm rear (new pads will come with the bike)
Discs – 4.3mm fronts, and 4.5mm rear (brand new are 5mm)
Tyres – 3mm front and 3mm rear

These Triumphs are an awesome piece of kit, just look up the bike magazine reviews for details. Any questions, please ask, and viewings are very welcome, I’m in Gloucester. If you want to test ride, I’ll ask for full cleared payment beforehand, proof of insurance, and the caveat ‘you bin it, you bought it’.

I will accept payment by bank transfer or cash – paypal or ebay payments not accepted, even though eBay listings usually insist on this being included. I will consider accepting a cheque, however please be aware that the Bike will not be released until funds including bank drafts are fully cleared.
