Description
Job Title – Warehouse/Workshop Operative – Manufacturing
Contract Type – Permanent
Salary – 25,000k – 30,000k (Depending on experience)
Location – Billingshurst
Reliable and safety–focused individual with a manufacturing background. Understands production processes and quality standards. Communicates clearly and works well both independently and within a team. Takes responsibility for their work and follows health and safety guidelines consistently. Able to manage time effectively, stay calm under pressure, and handle physical tasks safely. Flexible to work in different areas and operate machinery after training.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily duties will include, but are not limited to:
Check product quality during processing.Operate workshop machinery once trained, follow safety procedures.Maintain and clean machinesWork in areas assigned by Team Leader.Report faults or issues to supervisor.Work well with the team, communicate clearly.What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Driving License –desired but not essentialGood communication; work alone or in a team.Responsible positive attitudePlan and prioritise tasks from schedules/instructions.Stay calm under pressure, make decisions.Keep workshop clean, manage time well.Practical skills and physical ability to move products safely.
