Our well known client based in Hayes is looking a Warehouse Operative to work Permanent Night on a 4 on 4 off shift 7pm - 7am Must have Freight Forwarding experience and FLT preferred. Role OverviewAs a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for ensuring that movement and handling of customers goods on a daily basis.Key Responsibilities: Receive and dispatch cargo into and out of the warehouse ensuring it is handled correctlyCarry out warehouse duties within timeframes stated by company.To ensure all documentation is completed as per requirements.Complying with local legislative requirements & company Policies and procedures.To comply with all aspects of Health & Safety.Fork lift truck driving (counterbalance)Load and unload containersPallet buildingDangerous goods checkingSorting shipments to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficientlyReport any damages or non-compliance to supervisor or manager to be investigatedContribute to the First Choice continuous improvement program Skills and Experience: Previous experience of working in a busy modern warehouseFLT Counter balance / reach truck licenceADR / Hazardous awarenessGood timekeeping and organisational skillsFlexible and willing to take on a variety of tasksReliability and DependabilitySelf-motivated and is also a key member of the TeamGood Interpersonal skillsAble to prioritise and perform under pressureHigh level of attention to detailVNA, Counterbalance and Reach forklift licenses would be beneficial although training can be providedCRB Requirement5 Year work history
